Camp Adventure

We wanted to spend the 4th of July up on the island with Andy's mom and family. Logistics determined that we try a night of camping. Given that Nancy's idea of camping is a night at the Motel 6, this was at best a daunting proposition. Somehow, we pulled it off! You can see out campsite here. Elizabeth told me the best part about camping was "sleeping with Big G."

Elizabeth loves her arts and crafts. Here she demonstrates her illustration techniques. George, while curious, tends to steer clear once the water gets splashed around.


She is obsessed with... dragons. I swear we didn't put her up to this.



She still needs a nap, every day. Sometimes we help her. Sometimes we leave her in place, balloon and all.

Baobao Birthday Redux

So we posted day-of birthday photos here. Elizabeth's birthday request was a party with all her friends. So we obliged with a playground-cupcake-bookswap blowout last Saturday. She was thrilled - but don't try to take her cupcake

San Diego Long Weekend

We traveled to San Diego for a pre-summer season family trip, which coincided with Tony, Andy's dad, fathers day all-Padres/Cubs weekend. The weather was beautiful (of course! 75 every day and sunny)




We also caught up with Nancy's friend Carol and our friend Laurie Rose and her mom Billie. Meanwhile here are the highlights: we were busy and didn't take too many photos!
