Happy Weekend!

In honor of my Grandma Irene:

She could not frame a shot if her life depended on it.
She also like horn-based big band music.

Birthday #2

Thanks to all the kind messages from friends and family and other EXS fans celebrating Elizabeth's second year on the planet. Although pictures and videos were hard to come by at first,

we made sure we got some for you, the EXS public.

Here's to a great year 3. Strongbad? Please cue the montage music:

And did you really think we would post this day without some video?

EXS asked for tacos and cupcakes for her birthday dinner. We obliged.

This one especially tickled Elizabeth's fancy.

Good night everybody!

Bao bao, play us out.

What does that mean? Those aren't even words, Dada.

Yes, they are sweetie. Now play us out.

What? There's something wrong with your mouth, Dada. I don't even know what that means.

It means it's the end of the post, honey.

(Scowl)... Fine, Dada! I'll just play my harmama and END THE POST!

What a good idea, sweetie.

Give me the harmama! We'll do it live!

Happy birthday, bao bao.

Uncle Beibei Gets Hitched

We've been traveling! My brother Peter (who Elizabeth calls Uncle Beibei) got married in NYC last weekend to his perfectly matched partner Angela. So, we all flew out to witness the ceremony at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, and then Nancy and Elizabeth took the train to Hanover to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa McSharry.

Trip highlights: Peter and Andy went out for a beer blast the night before the wedding. By that we mean, they had to go buy the beer for the wedding reception. Here's Pete on the street in Midtown. Andy scared off free-loaders. We'll post more photos later, meanwhile, here's a video clip of her and Grandpa gardening, and some additional photos of baby and mama taking much needed naps.
